Good grief...grow a pair. Let's see, who has lured away our HFB in the past....The San Diego Chargers....Alafreakinbama and some other nobody, I can't remember....oh yeah, Notre Dame. If I recall correctly, didn't George say the only program he would consider leaving for would be ND? Kinda hard to understand with him being Irish and Catholic..go figure.


We have an excellent coach and I assume any major program that want's to win and can afford PJ is going to make a run at him. Get used to it. There are a few programs that could probably wave enough $ at him that we couldn't do anything about it, but awburn aint one of 'em. Paul is the perfect fit for Tech....he knows it and we know it. Stop worrying about things you have absolutley no control over. Bask in our victory over the mutts and take solace that GT is about to become a major power again in CFB.

This I agree with. Only OLeary and Ross made step ups.. hate ND or not, they are ND.

Notre Dame is a step up from UF too...Myer is gone after 2009 when Tebow graduates...Notre Dame as being Notre dame will be a step up from ANY program, not just GT...

Don't incriminate him yet. Florida is a damn good job and he's got a great situation there. Remember, Les Miles actually turned down his alma mater to stay with LSU, so there still are some coaches with honor who aren't driven completely by greed.

Based on what? Pay? Pool of talent?

Build a winning program, and these become non-starters. All you have left is tradition. That and $3.50 will get you a tall latte at Starbucks.

Maybe the laundry at Notre Dame looks a little more prestigious. That's it. Meyer can run his own little dictatorship in Gainesville, recruit anyone he pleases, and discipline his team in the fine tradition of SEC discipline. He's also in Florida, which last time I checked, was a whole lot better then South Bend. Unless he gets fed up with administration, who have shown no inclination to get into his affairs, he has no reason whatsoever to leave.
