If Ole Miss losses

The SEC is so amazing because everyone in the SEC is on another level. You can't compare South Carolina handidly beating Ole Miss to Miami handidly beating GT or South Carolina barely beating NC State.

Ole Miss and NC State are pretty comparable teams.

USCe ... only the second win EVER over a top 5 team??? Wow.

So how far will Ole Piss drop?

They're just going to chalk this up as an "the SEC is so tough" loss. Ole Miss moves to #11 and USCe enters the polls at #18.

Even though it's fully comparable with GT losing at Miami.... and GT drops out... But Ole Miss who has beaten no one, won't drop that far. At all.

who the hell cares????????????????????

And why are we even threading about it??????????

I'd rather talk about Damarius

Ole Miss has a defense; we don't.

Still, South Carolina won't beat Clemson this year. Hence, the transitive property says we are better than Ole Miss.

Maybe ...

Didn't you find it odd how the announcers started talking about how amazing South Carolina was after the game and how they are much better than we thought they were, instead of saying that Ole Miss was much worse than we thought they were?

That's the big difference in ESPN's SEC coverage vs. ACC coverage. They don't mention at all after the game that this is the same South Carolina team that struggled to beat NC State. The same South Carolina team that was held to their lowest point total against a crappy NC State squad.

Seems like the ACC defenses are much better than they give us credit for.

Last night Ole Miss looked sort of like we did the past two Thursdays: lathargic, fatigued, and undisciplined. The announcers said that a good number of OM players contacted H1N1; could this have been the case with our guys, but CPJ kept it under wraps? I'm still perplexed by our overall poor effort hitherto this season.

I think that most people deep down know that the ACC has great defenses, but because of our OOC showing (in bowl games/national spotlight) we don't look good, so they just assume that we have 'ok' defenses that look great because of the teams we play.

Until we start shutting down the OOC teams on defense, they will get no recognition.
