If Reggie Ball starts one more game for GT...

Well, it looks like Wake for the next game

As I said several weeks ago, not looking forward to playing WF. Their backfield looked incredibly fast as they dispatched Maryland tonight. WF has a really good RB in Moore and they appear to have significant depth on their team. This game will not be a slam-dunk cakewalk for Tech and Reggie better bring his A-game if we expect to win this one.

We weren't favored. Georgia carried far more momentum in than us, seeking redemption and coming off of a huge win at Auburn. And yet, somehow us losing to them is the unthinkable? Unacceptable, yes. Unbelievable is pushing to hard, which you've done quite enough of tonight.

A meltdown of "Reggie sucks. He has no business playing for us or anyone else. He's the worst quarterback on the planet, and Chan has started him so he deserves to be canned." isn't appropriate.

Losing 6 in a row is bad, and folks would be upset regardless. However, Reggie's performance is the reason for the meltdown. It was so bad....it was truly bizarre how bad it was.

Some of you are talking about Taylor only playing against Duke......well.........he looked much better in the 2nd half vs. Duke than a 4 year starter did in the 1st half against the same Duke defense. The two fade routes he threw to Dunlap would have been caught by CJ. The only dimension Reggie has over TB is his ability to run-which is now out of the equation. I don't have to go to practice to see that Taylor throws teh ball much better than Reggie. Why do I need to go to practice when I saw both of them against the same freakin Duke defense?

honestly, I can't see why people continue to BLINDLY defend Reggie's play. You have to hold your players accountable for their play. If they stink it up you HAVE to let the next guy try. From what I saw of TB in the Duke game, he has a much more live arm than Reggie, he is more accurate than Reggie and he knows how to progress thru his reads has he did several times going to the third receiver. Reggie looks for one man then either throws badly or aborts.

Gailey is one stubborn SOB. He doesn't give backups like TB playing time because he doesn't want people to know they are viable alternatives. Why? I simply don't know. No doubt Reggie is a leader, but Reggie's threat and the way he beat Auburn and Miami was because he provided a scrambling, outside running threat. He has not done that since Clemson when he was injured. If the status quo continues Wake Forest will eat us alive and we will lose another bowl game. Gailey must DO SOMETHING, our I fear that we will belly flop and some of our recruits may have second thoughts.
