<font size="2" face="Arial, Verdana, Sans-Serif">Yes Joe Lee's defenses the past two years have been horrible, but he has had absolutely no talent. I'll give you a perfect example of this. One of there starting CB's was a redshirt senior JC transfer. In high school my senior year I scorced him for 2 TD's of 50 or more yards while he was playing man D on me. One play was a quick slant and the other was a corner were I faked him out of his jock and had 6 yards of seperation. This guy would not have started on my high school team that went 7-5 with only 2 D1 players on it in 5A in MS. Someone like that should not get to play in a D1 game much less start. OK I admit I used to have some quicks, but not that kind of quicks. The only legit players Joe Lee had were Mario Haggan, senior LB, and a true freshman that played safety. Rob Morgan started there for 4 years and he is a smaller Muyers with less speed, not nearly as smart, and can't bring the wood. Joe Lee's defense was seriously depleted because they were trying to switch from all JUCO players to 4 year players and all of their talent were freshman and redshirt freshman. Joe Lee was the best DC in the SEC and the only reason he got fired was ole Jackie had to do major house cleaning to keep his job for one more year.Originally posted by toe meets leather:
