I’ve come to two conclusions about the D. First, the DB are absolutely not coached how to tackle. Second, we have a defensive system problem.

There’s far more talent in that defense than we’re seeing. The issue is not talent - totally.

Collins’ sidecar sidekick, Thacker, has no idea what he’s doing. At the beginning of the game they said that Thacker was worried about BG. He lacks confidence and coaching ability.

You are ABSOLUTELY correct. I hear people here whine about the talent, in my opinion we have above average talent 8n the secondary. They are poorly coached in my opinion.

We do not seem to have a go to defensive philosophy which for the life of me I can not figure out why.

To me, Thacker is a front runner. If thIngs go well early, he’s excellent……if the defense opens slowly he struggles mightily.

Nobody can bitch about the talent when Bowling Green scores 38 points on you. It’s 100% coaching.

OK so - What Defense?

We should send a U-Haul van over to Thacker's house, park it out front and give him the keys.

Honestly, Thacker's best case for keeping his job right now is just saving us from ourselves, where we once again become enamored enough with an interim coach to hire them full time for a job they're not qualified for.
