If you were ACC Commissioner for a day...

Would, by hook/crook/love/life/ liberty have PSU, TEXAS & UK lined up for ACC membership (be very easy to convince them as to easier path to fb playoffs and NCAA bb advantages),
Then tell ND to shit or get of pot and decide in next 7 seconds.

Then have conference wide uni deal to blow everything else out of water.

Tell ATL if they ever want to sniff ACC BB championship again, they will from time to time host ACC FB championship.
 
I would kick out Miami, Syracuse, Pitt, and BC. Then everyone would play everyone. We wouldn't have any BS where Duke plays Atlantic opponents with a combined conference record of 5-43 while our Atlantic opponents have a combined conference record of 43-14 over the last 3 years. Everyone plays everyone. No championship game. If you want to improve your strength of schedule to look better for the playoff committee then just schedule more P5 OOC. There is no rule against playing 12 P5 teams in a season.

There must be some closet ND fans making decisions for the ACC.
The deal is good for ND, while the conference could have done
better getting a full time member. If the NC is expanded to 8 teams
I doubt ND will ever join a conference as a full member. They will
continue being a leach on the ACC to fill out their football schedule
and support their minor sports.

Exactly. And the ton of lil girls in the ACC will take it and giggle.
 
I'd do away with divisions. I would tell the conference - schedule the eight conference games of your choice, two year, home and home commitments. Everyone has four home and four away conference games annually. Conference championship game is between the two reams with the best conference records. First tie-break is head to head result. Next is simply based on BCS ranking.
