If you were CJ, what would you do?

Try reading my comments again and then telling me where I said any of the things you attribute to me.

Here it is, plain and simple so you can follow.

The comment that started this was about CJ transferring to put up bigger numbers TO IMPRESS THE PROS. That's what this is about. Not what he wanted to accomplish at Tech, not whether he's being underutilized. Calvin came here to win and to show what he can do. He knew he wasn't going to get the ball on every play and he knows that it's a team game, not all about individual numbers. If you don't know that, you know less than you appear to.

If all he was about was putting up big numbers he would definitely would have gone somewhere else. And that doesn't mean uag either, because major programs aren't where you're going to put up the ridiculous numbers that players do in some of those crazy conferences. The fact that CJ came down to Tech and ugag shows he wanted to win.

The bigger plans CJ has is winning, sport, not his own numbers. He wants to help the team and whatever frustration he feels now is because he knows he could be doing more to help Tech win, not about his personal numbers.

How's that moron? Understand now?

BTW, you're reading comprehension really is poor. You may want to work on that.

I'm sorry that I am less naive about what a world class athlete wants than you. That's about all I can gather from this. That and you don't know much about football.

Have a good one! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

PS. You had to go back and edit your post to include a one-liner about reading comprehension???.... You suck at the internet /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugher.gif

3rd ... I have to agree with you
If I had his ability I would want the ball in my hands on every play Can you imagine him and Shocley together ?
If I was in his position now I would sit out next season and not risk injury

Maybe you confuse world class athlete with TO? Most world class athletes understand that balanced teams win. I'm sure CJ is upset with our offensive problems and wants the ball more. But I'm just as sure that PJ wants it more too. But both understand that neither will have it every play. That's not what this is discussion was about until you hijacked it.

I agree completely, and have said so on other threads. CJ needs work on running great routes to get open. I know he is often double covered. But, too often his approach has been to just run a straight route, push off for separation, and jump for a high RB pass.

I think GT has been fine for CJ - he gets great press. But, there is work to be done and I look forward to seeing him put some moves on a DB and getting wide open. Then he will be the "total package" WR. Just hope when he gets wide open someone zips him the ball in stride.
