I'm not saying I like Lane Kiffin...

Lane Kiffin is hilarious, and he kind of backed it up against Florida.
 
I think Kiffin will end up being a great coach in the long run. How can he not be? The guy has the best assistants in the entire country.
 
Both Kiffin and Dabo have been big surprises for me too. They both have the "Pete Carroll effect" with their teams, which helps players play loose in high-pressure situations but also leads to some inexplicable losses. I'm still not sure how USC lost to Stanford a couple of years ago.

He coached in one of the easiest environments possible: we're the secondary team in an already lax and forgiving media market. I'm pretty sure that's not the case with Tennessee.
 
Once the retard QB is gone, Kiffin will begin to succeed. All that team needs is a good QB. Their defense shut down UF's offense about as much as you can with such great talent running it. If only their retard behind center would have made some better passes, they could have been in that game and possibly even won.

Yeah, he's done almost enough stupid stuff for people to forget about his dad running the defense. Now, if he could just find a QB.

Yes, that big Loss sure showed them. We sure showed U[sic]GA from 2003-2007. We had some close ones! By gosh, I bet they were just steaming mad that they beat us. Can you imagine the heat in the swamp after beating the Vols, in what was never much of close contest? Sure, if the vols had managed to double the number of points they scored it might have been different.

I'm sure the Gators are really sour about being 3-0, after winning 23-13, instead of 1-2 like the Kiffin lead Vols. Hey, maybe the Vols will go to a bowl game this year. I think they have a good shot against Vandy.

Only losers celebrate losing.

Heck, Kiffin is getting credit for a two score loss, that was never in question. That's more credit than the FUPA got for losing to Southern Cal.

Well, I guess they'll go back to singing Rocky Top all night in Knoxville. Rocky Top, you'll always be, #3 in the SEC east. Good ol' rocky top, you'll always be #3.
