Our AD, Todd Stansbury, is in the midst of perhaps the most consequential decision of his tenure, one which will cement his legacy in the annals of Tech history. I think he needs all the help he can get. With the help of some well-placed operatives in ANAK, I've gotten my hands on a screenshot of the four finalists for Tech's official color. Your vote here can and will serve as guide for TStan to make the right decision. Help me, fellow Stingtalkers, you are our only hope.

if we have an official color and it is well defined, why is it not on the board? Is Old Gold supposedly = "Pantone XXX". It looks a little heavy. Seems like the right color is somewhere between Vegas and Old Gold

Honestly, our colors right now are fine.

Just control the brand.

No Pantone 124 and blue. If blue is used, it must be used with both white and gold and must not be more than 10% of whatever item it's being used in. Black can be used as an accent color for either the yellow or gold.

Whatever color Dywer's pants are in this pic. Make the helmet match by picking a different pantone that will look the same b/c of the material

Let's just dress in that every game. If some jerk school wants to wear white at Grant Field, then fine, we'll wear blue tops. That's all we need... those two. This really isn't complicated.

Oh, wait, teenagers are retards. Forgot about that.

Maybe it's my screen, but none of those feel right.
The problem is the medium. It really might take multiple shades of gold to get various mediums to appear similar.

Old Gold on a t-shirt, hat, jersey might look too dark, so Vegas is used. Print materials, Old Gold is best. Online, maybe something else. Heck, the color of gold for the uniform might need to be different than the one used on a shiny helmet.

edit - sorry, I didn't see Ish basically said the same thing.

TStan wasnt satisfied with just being the AD, he decided to be the man to decide one shade of gold for us to bitch about.
