Let's just dress in that every game. If some jerk school wants to wear white at Grant Field, then fine, we'll wear blue tops. That's all we need... those two. This really isn't complicated.

Oh, wait, teenagers are retards. Forgot about that.
The issue isn't our uniforms as much as a complete lack of consistent branding of fan apparel.

Yes, I agree about that. I get really tired of people wearing fluorescent yellow to the games as if they're wearing our colors. It'd be like someone wearing Alabama crimson to a Georgia game and thinking 'I'm wearing red too!'... the kind of thing your well-meaning but completely oblivious relatives might do, when they come to the game as a favor to you. But in our case, it's most of our season ticket holders who do it.

And I'm sorry but we've got to get rid of blue if we are to have any hope of speaking with a unified color voice.

Whatever color Dywer's pants are in this pic. Make the helmet match by picking a different pantone that will look the same b/c of the material

Two problems:

1) That's Jonathan Smith in 2003.

2) That's the problem with metallic/vegas gold. It changes drastically in different lighting. Those pants are the exact same as these muted ones in different lighting. All pics are from 2003.

all of those look great, the helmet is only slightly different than the pants.

In all seriousness... this is a tough decision. I can understand the difficulty. My personal thoughts are that the jacket yellow is too light, but when I "wear my gold", that's the color of all my sweatshirts and polos. It doesn't look bad, but would likely be horrid on the uniform. Old Gold is nice, but too dark in my opinion. I think the Vegas Gold is the best because the mustard is to orange-yellow. .

Granted, I'm looking at this on a computer monitor, so I could be completely off in shades and hues...

SWMBOs mom made uniforms for the band and shirts for a few other organizations back in the day, and I think she always defaulted to Vegas Gold for the "gold" color unless told otherwise. She did mention on numerous occasions that we were a pain in the a$$ because we couldn't pick a shade of gold.

I voted Old Gold, but I agree it looks greenish on my monitor. The best one is somewhere between that and:

Every option looks better than that awful urine-shade of beige we used at the end of the Gailey era.

My solution for Adidas is this:
  1. Google Calvin Johnson throwback
  2. Press the select color button
  3. Click inside his jersey.
  4. Proceed.
Also, please bring back those 70s throwbacks every once and a while.

Can you believe that was 11 years ago?

Green gold has a history with GT. My ring was green gold with a black onyx stone. I got a lot of compliments on that ring, hate I lost it in a fire.

Wrong-color Tech gear is a popular Christmas gift from well-intentioned family members. I've got a good bit of it. I happily wear it out and about, but I only have one tee and hoodie that are suitable game wear.
