BC has lost their QB Dominique Davis. It keeps getting worse and worse for BC. Their OOC is Northeastern, Notre Dame, and Central Michigan, as well as Kent St. They could very well lose to Notre Dame and Central Michigan and maybe even Northeastern. I hope not, but they have a new coach, no experienced QB's now, defense is a shell....I hope they don't screw up any victories from the OOC schedule for the ACC. Any losses to the teams above would look pretty bad for the ACC, unless of course people stop to think about what BC has or doesn't have....

Unfortunately the SEC homers dont stop to think about anything. Logic is not something they use often. They will see an ACC team lost to a Kent St. and then all we will hear is how bad the ACC is....

Well, to put things into perspective....Davis did not win the starting job in the spring. It was still a 3 man race before he departed. He was the only QB with experience, but had only thrown for 700 or so yards. Losing the linebacker will be a much bigger deal.

BC does have a new head coach, but since he is a hire from within, the systems and cultures will probably not change that much. Added to that is that this team has gone to the ACCCG game 2 years in a row with probably the 4th or 5th best talent in their DIVISION. They will be OK. Will they be as good as they have been?...NO. Will they beat FCS teams and ND? YES. In fact I will be surprised if they aren't bowling in December.

I think BC will be tougher than people think, but they won't be playing in the ACC Championship this year.

Just note your concern that Auburn may try to hire Frank Spaziani away from Boston College with losses like that. After all, they did hire a coach who managed a 5-19 record as a head coach with losses to Kent State, Northern Iowa, Toledo, and UNLV.

Don't forget these losses by first year current SEC coaches...
Bobby Johnson - Middle Tennessee State.
Nick Saban - UAB(LSU), Louisiana-Monroe(Alabama)

Gee, I hate it for them... I still cannot believe BC is in the ACC. Thank Swofford for not having any common sense. If it was up to that jackass we would have had Syracuse instead of VT. Thank God for Virginia politics.

The ACC expansion should have been VT, Miami, and WVA. I wonder if the ACC schools' Athletic Directors think Swofford is good for the ACC?
