The source said the acrimony between Shalala and factions in the Big East has increased to the point that the president has vowed the Hurricanes will never play at UConn's Rentschler Field. UM is scheduled to play the Huskies there in 2005.

<font size="2" face="Arial, Verdana, Sans-Serif">this is off a board so take it w/ a grain of salt, but I think UCONN and the Big East may have hurt themselves. The ACC may never play these teams again.
 
If this statement is factual, I am all for it. Its about time that the football minded players in this deal stand up and drive the issue.

Its time to take the Al Davis approach. We won't take what they give us, we will take what we want.
