Smart ACC note from Luciana Chavez: On the off-chance the Demon Deacons and Yellow Jackets meet up in the ACC title game in December, Wake Forest will have the same experience of playing Paul Johnson's option offense twice -- against Navy and Georgia Tech -- in one season like Duke.

Duke beat Navy and lost to Georgia Tech. Wake Forest lost to Navy. Duke defensive lineman Greg Akinbiyi offered this analysis: "Georgia Tech didn't come off the ball as fast as Navy did. Navy has smaller guys that can move quicker laterally. But Georgia Tech has some big guys who were really coming off the ball hard. The biggest difference was the size of Tech's offensive line. Other than that it was the same offense."

Then he added: "Well, that and they also had this #8 that ran past our DBs they were blocking dummies."
