Interesting Thread on Clemsons Board

Thanks for the thread Jacketguy. WOW do we have something to prove this year or not! We have to prove that last year was indeed a fluke and the result of some bad coaching, injuries, and bad breaks. We have to prove that we're HERE to stay and that we WON'T lose the war either on the field or on the recruiting trail. FINALLY, we need to prove that our new staff and all our talent will lead us to great places this year and beyond!!

Some of the Clemson people are ill-informed about our program and our talent level. That's OK. We'll get a chance on September 14 to make it 5 out of 6.

There is no doubt this is the first big test for CG and the messages boards will be lit up if we stumble.
One of O'leary's strongest qualities was his ability to beat Clem's son and Ugag.
It will be more interesting if Clem's son can pull the upset over Ugag on Aug 24. Many think that Ugag runs away with that game I am not so sure.

In so many ways the year will be more important than the next few b/c if we make a statement this year we can reassert ourselves as the #2 team in the ACC.
 
I also noticed that the Sporting News magazine has our program rated as "descending"... I think you are right Law... Clemson is going to be a huge game for us this year... I also noticed on the BYU board that a number of them are already making their travel plans for Atlanta... I hope we gain momentum coming out of Death Valley...
