interesting "thread" on how the acc will finish (LINK)

I think it'll be:

1. FSU - best team but beatable
2. NC State - easy schedule
3. GT - will beat FSU but lose to 2 teams below
4. Maryland - Fridge will have them humming by year's end
5. Wake - solid team
6. UNC - tough schedule
7. Clemson - buh bye baby bowden
8. UVa - playing chess with freshman
9. Duke - Roof improves a D that allowed >35 pg

I agree w/Kirbee except that I would put N.C. State below us, perhaps tied w/Maryland. N.C. State has the very real possibility of being 8-0 before they play us. They also play FSU after us as well; I am thinking that a loss to us which they won't be expecting will send their season on a downward spiral for the month of Nov. They have no running game and lost some very good players on D. Don't understand their hype other than being 2-2 vs. FSU over the last 4 seasons.

Baby Bowden will have the heat turned up in a hurry if he starts out 1-2 w/losses to Ugag and Us.

Great link, law! Lots of GT talk on that thread, and Golden Tornado is showing them how a Tech man uses his head!

1. FSU-Not MNC caliber still plenty of questions.
2. GT-2nd best talent, least amount of glaring holes of the teams 2-8.
3. Clemson-Too many weapons and will be better on defense.
4. N.C. State-Highly overrated. Schedule is easy but there are a lot of holes. Rivers needs time, will he get it.
5. Maryland-Too much good fortune last year, those things have a way of reversing themselves. OL is overrated and Perry might not play much.
6. UNC-More athletes than what's below.
7. Wake Forest-Would rank them higher, but don't like picking Wake when they have expectations.
8. UVA-They could be downright awful, or just bad.
9. Duke-Need to get a win.

1) Tech - If the offense gels in weeks one and two watch out! Could be the Year of The Bee

2) FSU - probably will be #1 unless Tech's offense plays well

3) Clemson - their defense finally plays

4) UM - Fridge and a strong D

7) UNC/NCSU/UVA - lots of holes

8) Wake - earlier on I would of placed them higher... injuries have taken their toll

9) Duke - mulligan
