there was a lot of stuff going on in background with Orgeron. But sure, if you want to hold up Orgeron being available as the reason to not look at Helton, I guess it’s an argument. It’s a stupid one, but an argument nonetheless.

And you would have been whining when they trailed in the 4th quarter. How do I know? Because you were whining when we were actually winning by 18 points in the 4th quarter, you miserable prick.

My reason, that you couldn't come up with a counterpoint, was that there hasn't been a coach fired at a blueblood that has then gone to have success somewhere else.

Maybe Holtz at usceast, curry at Kentucky, kiffen. Is that what your looking for? Maybe I'm missing someone great.
 
About 24 years ago, Nebraska offered Southern $500K to come out to Lincoln for a game. Southern, which had trouble getting FBS teams to play them back then, passed
Troy got that game instead.
now that Southern is FBS, I figure they pocketed at least $1.3 million for this trip.

Don’t forget, we underwent the biggest program rebuild in football history. Turning a TO team into a spread offense. It’s takes years to do such a transformation. We need to be patient while our clown coach gets rich and we suffer the worst football I’ve ever witnessed. Bill Lewis was a hero vs this jerk.

Unless you’re Georgia Southern. They took a program running the option for nearly 50 years and made it a spread team and scored 100 points in the first 2 weeks. Why did they not need to rebuild for 4 years? They looked like Alabama out there tonight.

I’m so tired of hearing the bullshit blaming Paul Johnson. Collins Is a clown and sucks at coaching

Pete Carroll, too. Twice fired in the NFL before success at USC and then Seattle. Of course Tony Dungy was fired by Tampa Bay before winning a Super Bowl in Indy. Al Davis fired Mike Shanahan at the Raiders before he won two Super Bowls in Denver. Philly fired Andy Reid before he won a Super Bowl in Kansas City. Barry Switzer "resigned" at Oklahoma in lieu of beng canned, before winning a Super Bowl in Dallas. But I can't think of a college football coach who was fired at one major program and then was successful somewhere else. Maybe Orgeron? He did have one magical season at LSU. But it seems to happen in basketball, and of course Major League Baseball.
