Is Beeware a Tech Fan

Was Beeware once "UnionGrover" on The Hive last year calling for O'Leary's head? I seem to remember that.

That font came out calling for O'Leary's head when we lost those close games and it continued all the way until UnionGrover finally got banned from The Hive.

Then another font called Beeware came into being and the stuff continued. And when O'Leary left us for Notre Done and the subsequence hiring of Chan Gailey, Beeware hit the roof and finally RR got tired of it and banned Beeware from there as well.

And did not one of The Hivers do a ip search on UnionGrover and Beeware and traced both back to the same individual?

I don't have a problem with Beeware's opinions. He is entitled to his just as everyone else. But the way he presents them. So negative and hate filled.........

I really worry about the well-being of the poor guy!

We certainly don't need everyone to see things thru gold-colered glasses as he alludes to, but not thru such a negative also. We are 2-1 and about to go 3-1 with quite a few winnable games ahead. I still say we can have anywhere from 7-9 wins this year if we get the breaks we got in 2000 and 1998. If we win, the recruits will come flocking.

GO JACKETS!!

byteback,
Your post is filled with falsehoods.
I do remember a font named Uniongrover on the hive, but that is not me and never has been. That seems particularly silly to say something like that since I have always been a big supporter of Coach O'leary and the job he did. You are sadly mistaken and a bit ridiculous to post such a thing. Think about it.

And all this talk about hate filled posts is silly. Your posts and others about me are the ones filled with hate, if there are any such posts.

Why don't you get over yourself and realize that everyone doesn't agree with you....and guess what that is ok. Why should everyone agree with you????

The real problem that you Braine-kissers have with me is that I spoke out about what shabby treatment that our Seattle Bowl Staff received after that magnificent Bowl victory...and then the downright travesty of hiring Buck his and his famous resume. I pointed out then and I point out now that Buck was a mediocre choice. We would not have missed a beat with that Seattle Bowl staff...they were ready to hit the ground running in all phases on day one. This group of coaches that we have now may NEVER be ready...and since that is becoming more apparent, all you pissants have to bash ole beeware....Well go ahead and bash...but at least you were told in advance what a mistake hiring ole Buck was.

You are probably correct BW about the scores. I was very young and just out of the Polio hospital so I could not and did not try to remember the years and scores but did remember we were whipped pretty badly. So lets give CG the same chance that was given to Dodd and support our players and coaches.

I second you on that oldfoggy. Right choice or wrong choice, the choice has been made. Now, it is time for all of us to rally around and cheer the Brave and Bold.

foggy and mustard,
I sat out in a monsoon last Saturday, cheering the brave and bold.
Not sure if I saw y'all there or not.

BW maybe you should go back to the Hive and read Coach Dodd's introductory statement to really get in the spirit of things! Coach Dodd was a very unique and special individual(that's why the National Coach of the Year trophy is named after him) and there will never/cannot be another one like him. He was still coaching when I was a freshman and was a classic Southern Gentleman;he was seen frequently around campus and was always gracious to all students.

I respect GOL's accomplishments in and for our program and think like someone posted that he was was a student of the game who never played well at college level, if at all, but was still a superior coach. I have spent time around GOL and RF and wish we had at least one of them still with us. I too wish Mac and his pack had been given a full season to see what they could do but that was not to be. The choice was made for CG at a higher level and for the good of GT we need to give it a chance, not generate "rumblings of unrest on the chat boards" , and get on with being 'Tech Men'.

BW you use, whether wittingly or unwittingly , some old fashioned debate tournament tactics called 'begging the question' and 'right thinking people'. You waste some well thought-out, well respected ideas, opinions, and well researched points by couching them in venomous , vitriolic, sarcastic commentary and attacks upon the rest of us. A real 'Dead Head' would show a lot more tolerance and respect for the rights of others!

Besides, you have yet to answer my query about reinstating drownproofing as a graduation requirement.

BW with a little effort you could be a good guy to party with;at present we would stand in line to punch you out or throw your ass out!

THWG! FEAR THE JACKETS! DI OPPRESSO LIBER!!

<font size="2" face="Arial, Verdana, Sans-Serif">OK.. I have to jump in here..

Beeware.. that you sat in the rain and cheered for Tech is a good thing, but what good does it do anyone (except yourself) to continually post the negative concerning the current administration and coaching staff... thats what I dont understand...

Months ago, I agreed with you concerning Braine and his treatment of Mac... I didnt think it was right then, and dont now... but I dont see any gain by my coming on this board and continually spouting my disdain for Braine.

The decision has been made, deeds done, I can either accept that and continue to support my team, or move on...but Braine is the person hired to direct athletics at Tech.. if Gailey doesnt do the job, THEN we have something to address, but at this time, we really dont have anything to address... I feel that we should give him the chance to succeed or fail... we know as much about Gailey's future success or failure as we would had we kept Mac. I do know that I was disappointed last year, and Gailey wasnt around.

If I cheer for Tech from the stands, then turn around and come on this board and point at the same mistake over and over...what am I accomplishing? I dont think it does a thing to help Tech...

j-guy,
Could you do us all a favor?? Last week the coaching Resume got all wet at klimpsum...causing a lot turmoil on here.
Could you be in charge of bringing the coaching Resume a poncho this Saturday....or at least some plastic wrap...since there is a high risk of rain again????
I think we both can agree that the Resume getting wet at klimpsum was not a pretty sight and needs to be avoided in the future at all costs???
Thanks j-guy.

From my point of view, he often gets attacked for having an opinion that is in the vast minority. His opinions are all directed at the coaching (not the S-As). I don't have an issue with that. The name calling isn't necessary (but, like I said, he's not the only one involved).

I've questioned Beeware a couple of times and he responded respectfully.

I guess I should have thanked you earlier for your fair and reasonable comments on my behalf....very rare on this board.
Thanks again.

<font size="2" face="Arial, Verdana, Sans-Serif">LOL.. well, we are going to have to use plastic wrap... as the poncho that I used to protect the resumes for the UGA game last year has been lost... (I think O'Leary took it with him to Oconee when he sat on the dock for a week).. but I will take on that responsiblity

You are just being downright silly. My reservations about Buck has nothing to do with the klimpsum game. I am entitled to have a different opinion than you do, and I do. It is not a threat to you. Quit biting on my ankle.

BW I totally agree with Mustard CG has lost a game so lets lynch him now and get it over with. No Mustard was not biting at your ankles. I have agreed with you several times but the continual harping about CG and Brain is starting to get to many folks here on the board, so let get over it get to the games on time amd cheer for whom ever the athlete is who is wearing the gold. Ltes quit giving the enemy especially UGally and more ammo about us in recruiting.

Lookie there, BW, you are already improving. You told me to "quit" in a nice way.

<font size="2" face="Arial, Verdana, Sans-Serif">Why don't GET OVER YOURSELF!!!

You are the one who come in here and call people nasty names and belittle their opinions.

Fine! You have your opinions, I have mine. And Guess what: The large majority of Tech fans have opinions that at least are willing to give Chan Gailey a chance. You won't do that! You WANT him to fall on his ass, just so you can go around and puff your chest out and say, "I told you so!"

If you are truly a Tech fan, then you would at least have the decency to respect others opinions without trashing them.

You sir, are a jackass and I'm ashamed that Georgia Tech has a fan like yourself. You are a bitter old man who has nothing to do better with your time but belittle others but won't look in the mirror to see that the reason why people don't like you in here and probably would turn their backs if you were to show up at a tailgate with people on here.

I'm tired of playing your game and responding to your flames. From now on when I see your posts, I'm just gonna skip over them and move on to the next. Do me a favor and do the same to me.
