Is there a scenario in your mind where facts aren't excuses?
Are they mutually exclusive?

Reality

Urban Meyer's not walking through that door, so don't worry about him.
are you honestly comparing Georgia Tech and Ohio State as if they're similar programs in any way shape or form?
Well I guess we're similar in that we both play american rules football in self-titled Power 5 conferences.
I wish someone had told Urbs that if you lose two players at a position it's cool to lay down and just lose games. The fans will understand.
I thought Johnson plays chess while everyone else plays checkers?
Are you insinuating that there might be better coaches out there?
Uhhhhh, yeah. I never said he was the best coach on the planet.
Are you insinuating he should be terminated and you have a better replacement at the ready?
No we're pretty different actually.
They don't lose to Duke.
That's great. I'm not sure what good your wisdom is going to do on this board. You should totes let CPJ know your feelings on the issue. Please report back with findings.
They lose to VPISU.
Guess we shouldn't discuss things on here anymore. GTDGN04 doesn't like it. Why even have a discussion forum?
I'm insinuating that other coaches and schools have injuries too. It's not like we're the only team that's banged up. Some coaches find a way to deal with it, and some coaches bring it up in the post-game.
Rivals already did a story on the most injured teams in the country, and we were ranked 2nd. The article was also still operating under the assumption that Snoddy and Marshall would play. Not only have we lost a öööö ton of players, we've lost them in bunches at key positions.
Some teams have the depth to withstand that type of thing. We are not one of those teams, and probably never will be, regardless of coach.
Doesn't mean PJ shouldn't try to deal with it or find a way to win despite it, but it does mean that we're not the same team we were on 9/3 when we were expecting big things. For öööös sake, our 3 top AB's vs. UNC were 2 small walkons and a freshman who we had to steal from Georgia State 2 days before signing day. This after no less than SEVEN running backs went down in the preseason/first few games.
Third string quarterback winning it all is the story of decade. Texas fell apart in the champioinship when Colt McCoy was hurt. Oklahoma started '09 ranked #3 and finished 8-5 when Sam Bradford got hurt. In 07 Oregon was #2 and then lost three in a row when Dennis Dixon got hurt. And these are factories who presumably have 4* and 5* players as backups.I wish someone had told Urbs that if you lose two players at a position it's cool to lay down and just lose games. The fans will understand.
