The same people who say this point to rugby as if it's somehow safer. Watch any rugby match on TV and you'll see multiple players enter concussion protocol. I question how they manage to field teams after 3 games with the number of injuries you see.Believe that the general theory is "safer helmets" are what has caused the increase in injuries over the years with players thinking their safer so putting themselves (and others) in more compromising positions.

Its real. Its just a pad that slips over the helmet.
Impulse doesn't change, but increase in time period reduces the force.I wonder how beneficial that actually is. If concussions are caused by your brain shaking from impact, how much would some soft padding actually help?
