Although, I started watching some show on MTV about skateboarders hurting themselves and those kids have the monopoly on horrific looking injuries caught on tape.

I have little sympathy for those guys. They are asking for injuries like that.

Actually they are just enjoying their sport the same as everyone else. No one asks to get hurt. Sometimes things just go bad and you have to hope for the best. Sometimes you "fall well" and others you bend in all the wrong places.

As a 28 year old who still skateboards, I can say that this is exactly right. Yes, kids trying to clear a 12 step set of stairs are putting themselves in a position to get a vacation to the ER, but sometimes you're just out cruising, you hit something, and you fall. And it hurts. And I'm worried that the next one will be the one that doesn't heal up all the way, but that's the price of feeling young still, I suppose.

The kid hitting the cart running out of the endzone was the worst I've seen since Prothro's floppy leg.

I think the game was at Marshall. The part that bothers me is who the hell parks a cart a yard or two behind the endzone? This could've easily been prevented.
