It IS a different time now

Just going by what was reported.

I get that and I dont know where they get the numbers, but I'm reporting too that I was there and definitely not 58,999 other folks with me. My group of 6 sat in the 300 level and we could've all sat together on nearly any row of any section up there. There were a couple entire sections empty.

I saw a lot of ND folks outside walking around, but once inside they were mostly in like 3 sections at the east endzone, and another group in 3rd level west endzone. There were others scattered around but mostly GT fans. I'd say probably 65% GT at worst.

No. I sat in my seats for pregame and got up and left at kickoff.
Sounds like it. The Dublin game reminded me of some of the games about a decade ago when the stands used to shake. My area was rocking the entire game. Rounds of Guinness appearing from no where along with all the whiskey had us pretty lit. Dude that was next to us had his son shagging drinks and food all game, decided he and his friends would drink with us when the wives were topped off. Reminds me I need to hunt them down at Homecoming. We also probably had an advantage of a row of fsu fans below us to heckle all game. Sorry you ended up in a lame section.

Being perfectly honest, I have no idea. I was in 200s and mostly Tech fans around. But with the acoustics in the place and the loud PA, it was impossible to figure out where sound was coming from. Everything in there just seems like loud background noise. Plus even with 59k, it just felt dead. I’d have rather played in a packed BDS on a beautiful fall day.
The "loud PA"??? There is much to complain about at MBS, but I thought the PA was FAR SUPERIOR to what we have at BDS. The sound level was not deafening, as it often is at BDS. I do agree, however, that the overall acoustics of the place are not very good, but I think that's the nature of a venue like that.

The lame game was MBS. I was saying that Ireland was awesome.

I’d rather play a game in Ireland every year than play another game at MBS. MBS game v ND was the most sterile atmosphere for a college game that I’ve ever experienced. Completely lifeless from start to finish. 0/10 will not go again.

“I’m going to fix the lifeless environment situation by not going to the game again!” - 78% of GT Fans

It’s happening whether you like it or not. How about the few fans we have left actually support the team and show up. I highly doubt your protest will be recognized by the AA… might as well just go.

Never thought I'd see this, but the Cocktail Party is moving to the Benz in '26 and Tampa in '27. So it is not just us going for the dollars. I just don't like where college football is headed. I understand our frustration with moving games to the Benz, and putting aside our hatred with the nadlickers for a secound, this news will affect the economy of a section of our state that lives for that weekend. What about those people? You may say, so what, good for them. I know some Tech people who have investments in that area. It will affect them as well. Goodness, what will we see next?
I don’t care where it’s played as long as Florida wins.

The only thing that was sterile or dead in MBS was our offense. If we would have played a solid football game and won then no one would have said a peep about MBS. The problem is we have basically stunk since we started playing games there.
