ENOUGH, of this bull, that we can't find a better alternative...

Back to WGST our original flagship station...We belong on WGST...At least they have the call letters right...Named after their longtime partner GT.....

We can keep adding good FM stations with strong signals like 107.1 also..

We need to put pressure on Drad right now...Enough is enough!
 
There is no more wgst.

I have not liked 790 because anytime someone farts in Gwinnett County their signal is gone.

On the other hand, with the way we will build this program it will be fun to listen (when someone doesn't fart) to pollock choking on dog cum.

Although it is not a sports talk format, it has I believe the strongest signal outside of wsb am...It has a fairly large audience also, with programs like Rush Limbaugh....It is time to go back to our roots.( WGST and Gt have a long history)..

We do not need to support in ANY way, shape or fashion those idiots on 790 am...DUMP EM !!!! Let em prop up the nadlickers!

I still believe FM stations are the key...We can go back to WGST am and once we start winning championships with P.J. we will be more attractive to some major FM stations like 97 FM The River or 96 rock....

One has nothing to do with the other....When someone keeps hitting you in the mouth (Like 790 does over and over with their Bull doggie crap) You have to hit back....
 
They spent more time on UGAys 'win' over Eastern Community Methodist Junior College of Michigan then they did on Techs ACC road win against BC. They also led with the UGAy 'story'. Pretty pathetic. The idiots on the morning show didn't even watch the game. I rarely turn to 790 unless there are commercials on ESPN Radio and Fox Radio.

Yes I know, they treat us so shabbily by mentioning that they're the home of the yellow jackets after their commercial breaks (and they have an ample number of those.) Or their terrible treatment of us by having Brandon and Wolvie broadcast live every Tuesday from Tech with CPJ on the show or by having a former Tech player host a nationally syndicated show in the early afternoon (the same show that regularly has Dorsey Levens and Joe Hamilton on it).

Oh, but they hired a former UGA player that is going to help pull some market share from their main competitor and apparently didn't realize that Flagship means never say a good thing about the other team in the state even when they're the #2 team in the country.

You people are freaking delusional sometimes. So like I said, let's go ahead and get a new thread about the current gold going. In fact let's get one about the navy jerseys going to and then we will have hit the trifecta of Idiotic GT Messageboard topics that have no real bearing on anything.

It is a fact, that when 790 am was brand new, they were very much pro-GT and hated on the Bulldogs every day, so much so, that some powerful Ugag alums forced a buyout of the station. (This all happened in the Donnan years at ugag)..That is when it turned, to purely another Bulldog propaganda station, no better than WSB am.

In the early years of 790 am they had a bunch of Radio guys like Max Howell that slammed and made fun of ugag all the time and some ugagers were hot, I mean very hot...Check your history here...There was a buyout of the station back then and all that changed...We had an actual bigtime pro-Gt station when 790 first came on the air...You could turn 790 on to hear a lot of Pro-Gt stuff and turn 680 am on to hear the Pro-Bulldog stuff...Guess what, the parent co. of 680 am bought out 790 am....:wow:

Like I said, why should GT support the nadlickers? Let's go back to our roots and WGST....

You have no idea what you are talking about. First, 790 is very pro-GT. The station owner is at every Tech game and a firm supporter of all GT athletics. Second, 790 was not bought out by Dickey Broadcating, the parent co. of 680. 790 is privately owned. Get your facts straight before you post.

I know for a fact that it was all over the radio and these message boards that when 790 was FIRST bought out that it was the parent co. of 680 at the time, if there has been any more buyouts since then, I do not know...All I know (I admit I don't know all the facts) I just know I was in the car a lot back then and had those 2 stations playing every day, is that after that 1st buyout, 790 am went to totally new radio guys and there was NO MORE Bulldog bashing...(Ironic or just a coincidence?) I do not think it was a coincidence...

It is obvious that they give the nadlickers more love than GT...
Now that is FACT....

Knock them for actual problems. Steak Shapiro is an idiot. Brandon Adams is a self-important idiot with a lisp. They don't talk with enough intellect about sports unless they have a guest host or Dimino is talking baseball. These are very REAL criticisms of 790 the Zone.

Knocking them because they running themselves like a business and also following the hottest sports story in the state of Georgia this year is just delusional fan whining. There are at least 25 more important things to worry about with our program than whether or not 790 is slobbing our knob with enough vigor.

I think you few 790 supporters have an agenda ? It is obvious that they give the nadlickers more love than GT...

They are definitely higher on Georgia right now, but that does not mean that they are a) down on us or b) have a reason to be down on Georgia. We start winning some games, these things will change. But just because they are our flagship station does not mean they should lie about the current state of football in Georgia.

Personally, I think this is a much bigger issue then which retard was hired by the radio station. It's sports talk radio. The aggregate IQ is in the low teens. Besides, what else is Pollack going to do? He's an NFL reject with a weak spine who probably caught syphylis from his sister. **** him.

Uniforms patterns and colors, now that is what is important. These new uniforms offend more then a redneck on the radio ever could.
