Temple was shitty enough before Al Golden to convince Miami he deserved a shot...so we can thank them for that.

As for the matchup, again if I weren't 2 hours from Philly this would be a very 'meh' deal for us IMO. We don't have much to gain from it. They're decent but not P5. Not like it's a recruiting hotbed. Heard there's a connection between their HC and Tech which probably prompted it.

Their last coach who they gained a ton of momentum under took the HC gig at Baylor this offseason, and their new HC was the Florida DC the last two years. I imagine they'll be a pretty different looking team come 2019.
