Its called finding a way to win...

It was disappointing though.

To see that halftime lead crumble and barely escape with the W.

Something is going on with Josh...

I HOPE CPJ can do something between now and Miami. After tonight's calls, I'm not so sure. We can hope though.

Guys - relax. We aren't going to win every game with offense. The halftime lead was a mirage - 14 special teams points + 1 FG + 1 home run play.

We just took the best shot Clemson had to offer and we still won.

Our coach is going to win every possible game with the team we have. We underestimated Clemson and overestimated our own team. Miami is good but I don't think they are better than Clemson so expect another nail-biter next Thursday.

it's not just Josh, though. It's the whole team.

We were exhausted. Gasping for air exhausted. That surprised me.

I also noticed when Nesbit took a knee to end the game that he turned around to Dwyer for high-fives and what not but Dwyer was not interested. I just thought it was odd.

I wouldn't either. It was a bad night for the offense, and I'm sure that they weren't happy with their performance, win or not. We asked to lose that game, but we made the plays we had to. Nothing we can do now, but try our hardest to learn from it, and look like the team we can and should be from here to the end of the season.

We ran 8 plays in the first quarter, to Clemson's 24. The second quarter we ran 24 to Clemson's 13, but it seemed like the first quarter zapped us of some energy.

It also seemed like we didn't get too many subs in on the D-Line, at least until late.

Speaking of D Line subs, I kept looking for TJ Barnes but don't remember seeing him. Anybody know why (or did I just not notice)? We were having trouble getting pressure on their QB in the 2nd half and I thought Barnes was supposed to be virtually unblockable by a single O lineman. I just thought he could have helped.

I was also looking for J. Burnett but don't remember seeing him either.

I saw Barnes a few times but wasn't able to hone in on it. As for J Burnett, as good as he looked he is a true freshman and putting him in against an athletic ACC team in a situation where the defense needs to play as well as it can is going to be a risk. Better to do it when we need to sub, we have a huge lead or it isn't as strong an opponent. He was on special teams all game though.
