Jacob Eason Announcing Today Per Twitter

Two-thirds chance Eason is coming to play at BDS - if he signs with the U or UGA.

Man the butthurt is going to register on the Richter scale if he flips. But what an awesome early Christmas present that would be!

Meh. There is much annoying barking on Twitter now. I still think they would have been better served to go full on embracing a 2015 college football offense and not worry about the kid and his dad's demands. Their OC hire screams "appeasement of a recruit" rather than long term winning. Their fans will bask in this, though.

This is good news in my opinion. Immediate QB controversy with high potential for spiraling out of control.

I am loving the drama surrounding this kid. It is all the media that is doing it, too, and not the kid himself. UGA fans are hyping this kid up to be Tom Brady at this point. He is going to suffer 4 years of comparisons to Stafford and Murray while working for an OC that has never produced a considerable talent.

Just needs a handgun with the serial number filed off, and he'll be set.

Let's see ... no offensive line, no big-time receivers coming back ... yup, it's a pro style QB's dream, isn't it?

If this kid is "enjoying the Athens nightlife" already, what are the odds they find him in two years in the Best Western off Broad St., syringes and hash pipes scattered across the room? For his sake, I hope that doesn't happen.

The biggest question I had is why would he even be considering coming to UGA after all of the coaches that presumably he wanted to play for left. It isn't like he grew up in Georgia and "always wanted to be a bulldog" or something like that.

It seems to me that with the shakeup in Athens, he would logically go with his 2nd choice in schools, somewhere that has a proven system in place?

because high school kids can't be trusted to make business decisions, which is what this should be. Instead they make emotional ones based on friendships and not wanting all the hate to come their way should they do something perceived as mean.

I don't get the hype. He plays in a weak division in a weak state for football. Is he good? Sure. But good is different than being hyped like ur the second coming of Peyton Manning.
