Figure Camp gets on the practice squad. Not too surprising for a late round pick. Wouldn’t be surprised if Davis finds a spot on someone’s squad; big tight ends have staying power. Probably all she wrote for Cottrell.

Cottrell lived the dream. If that's it, he can hold his head high. Agree that Camp getting signed to the practice squad makes sense.
 
I assumed Davis was safe. He looked good in the few highlights I saw.

Practice squads are 16 this year. Prolly room for all 3 on Jax's so no one has to hang it up unless they are ready to grow up and move on with their lives.

Cottrell has proven special teams chops and two years of camps/training in learning the NFL game. Camp not so much on special teams but has the freak thing going on. That makes it hard for him to make a team until he is ready to start which he is not. Davis is not close to being there but TE takes longer than most any other position so he should just plug away on the practice squad and learn everything he is coached to do.

I love watching Cottrell run, either from the backfield or after a catch. He scoots and slithers in a blur. Just don't ask him to cut, which is like his main job with the ball. But he can eat up yards in a hurry until someone is standing in his path.

Whole new staff in Jax works against them sticking. Part of my rationale. Hope they stick there, or elsewhere, though. Both great stories
