What that video doesn't show, from that angle, is just how good that catch was. Quez and the DB were handfighting the entire time and he pulled it in over the defensive back. It was quite literally about as good as coverage can be but he made the catch anyway. Only better catch I saw all Saturday was the one Malachi Carter made for about a 30 yard reception out to somewhere near midfield.

He was switched to 14 because he had 14 credit hours to make up. The number switch was an everyday reminder of what he had to do to be able to wear a GT uniform. Just a motivation technique, nothing more. It worked.
