Guys, Jaybo did a solid job as a true freshman backup last year. The fact that he had some option experience was a plus.
I don't think (at least I hope not) anyone is suggesting that he should be a starter or ANYTHING like that. He played well and, again, was a good backup.
If he gets a little stronger and more comfortable with CPJ's system he'll likely continue to be a very serviceable backup for Nesbitt this upcoming year. I don't know much about the incoming freshman, but I hope they are not thrust into a playing role sooner than they need to be.
Hopefully much of the O will get over their fumbleitis. Certainly Jaybo was not the only one.
