Jeff Hullinger

This so much. In reality, the average GT alum probably does better than the average state-U dude but anybody, degree or not, can make more money than the average GT grad depending upon career/business choice, aspirations and luck. I dont know why we come at our rivals with this and truthfully I hope it is an old-school thing and not really a current taunt.

Spot on.

Yeah, but he ain't Furman Bisher.
What was it Furman said about the BB program that time? I can't remember. I do remember everyone at the Omni having signs that basically said "F Furman" and weren't talking about the school. Crap, that much have been the Kuppenheimer Classic days

Hullinger needs to stick to politics, he used to be all in on sports years ago , and was very good. Now, local tv news stations devote maybe 2 minutes to sports.

Glad he's on board, but it is extremely rich for a guy who's been in the local media since the 90s drone on about how Tech isn't local, and despite being invested for years in Atlanta sports he mentions one game experience because he was given tickets, probably a noon kickoff against Presbyterian or Jacksonville State or Elon, and doesn't see any culpability in himself for why that is.

But we need assholes like this on our side and this shows CGC is doing work.

Did Hullinger get öööö canned in Tampa? He left Atlanta to be an anchor in Tampa and was back in a few years.

Sorry I read that article and all I saw was back handed slap after back handed slap followed by “Geoff Collins let’s us record his practices which no real coach does so he’s cool...but probably sucks because Tech”. We’ll never have the local media’s respect and that’s okay. G.C. is playing it all right with these buffoons and they’re eating right out of his hand. Eventually he’ll blow this up, the local media can keep hanging in to Kirby’s pubes and we’ll have National attention.

What if you wanted to be slapped?

Trust me, as a sidewalk fan, I have had to explain my fanhood to alums. Some of which have never been season ticket holders, as opposed to my decades of season tix. Almost as if "why are you buying season tix, you aren't an alum". I just tell them I grew up supporting GT football. I should say "why don't you buy season tix"?

I throw people off when my degree, alum status, and college football are discussed -“Yeah, I majored in mathematics + statistics at UGA and I’m a Georgia Tech season ticket holder.” People get perplexed and just don’t get it. I enjoy discussing it just for the reactions.

It’s more common than I’d like it to be. To the point where the kid washing my car the other day said “I bet you’re getting a kick out of watching a uga fan wearing a uga shirt washing your Corvette with the Tech plate.” I said “I’m sorry, I didn’t know you were allowed to talk to customers while washing their cars.”
The wife and I were at a restaurant in north Georgia Saturday and on out way out one of the wait staff gave us a “go dwags.” I said, “just don’t burn the fries” at the same time my wife said, “I tell you where they can go.”

My girlfriend's son has his statistics bachelor's and master's from UGAg
