Jim Chaney to GT as Analyst

Chaney is a solid OC with good fundamentals. I suspect he’ll focus on the run game….can’t hurt.

still very worried about the defense…thought they looked bad in the spring game. CGC better be the elite DC he claims to be.

Wow! Not like us to have analysts with any name recognition. He was OC of a Georgia team that damn near won the national championship.
Name recognition means nothing! See Al Groh and Ted Roof hires. Only results matter in a hire, even for analysts.

Yeah, I would rather see more help on defense. The offense, which needed the least help, has gotten the most. The defense, on the other hand...what have we really done to shore it up? Our worst position group is now coached by a guy...that had the worst position group at his old job, we lost a good coach, and the boss is still running things.

How many points did the offense score in the last two games? I’d say it needed plenty of help.

Yup. Can't win at all if you don't score any points. You can absolutely win with a ööööty defense.

And yet you continue to prove your ignorance.
Wahhhh, someone doesn't recognize the brilliance in my snarky posts as I act like a badass on the internet. -- Chattanooga Jacket

LOL. We get it. You want results. We all do. Now please STFU until the season starts about it because nothing is gonna change between now & then.

He’s a ööööing analyst bro. No way hiring a name coach as an analyst hurts results.
Honestly, I wouldn’t mind having him get more power than a normal analyst tho. Sure he hasn’t been Nick Saban, but he has powerhouse SEC experience. In a down ACC, it would be good to have him step in and show his experience.
