Michael Lemon - Felony aggravated battery and simple battery
ATHENS -- Macon's Michael Lemon, a sophomore defensive end at Georgia, was arrested Thursday on a felony charge stemming from an incident that allegedly left another man with a blowout fracture below his left eye.
Lemon, 6-foot-4, 275 pounds, was charged with felony aggravated battery and simple battery stemming from an incident that took place Saturday during a community pool event at The Exchange apartments in Athens.
Lemon turned himself into the Athens-Clarke County police at 9 a.m. and was then placed under arrest, Athens attorney Ed Tolley said. Lemon was expected to be released shortly on a $6,500 bond, Tolley said.
Justin Anderson & Trinton Sturdivant - simply battery
Sophomore offensive linemen Justin Anderson and Trinton Sturdivant were arrested Monday by Athens-Clarke County Sherriff's deputies and charged with simple battery. Warrants for their arrests were issued after an alleged incident occurred early Friday morning at the East Campus Village dormitory on the UGA campus.
Trina Bailey, 22, of Bogart, gave the Altlanta Journal-Constitution permission to use her name with her account of the events. She said she and a friend were returning to the dorm about 1:30 a.m. Friday after watching a movie at another friend's house when they encountered Anderson and Sturdivant and another unidentified male in a breezeway.
Brandon Wood - DUI
Georgia defensive tackle Brandon Wood will not play against LSU this week after being arrested early Sunday on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.
“He made that mistake, and he’ll pay the price,” Georgia coach Mark Richt said Sunday afternoon. “He certainly won’t be playing in this ball game coming up here.”
Richt said athletics association policy requires a one-game suspension, but the coach was non-committal on whether Wood would be allowed to play against Florida on Nov. 1.
Wood was one of two Georgia football players arrested by University of Georgia police in separate incidents after Saturday’s win over Vanderbilt, according to the Athens-Clarke County jail’s booking report.
Vince Vance - Driving without valid license
Offensive tackle Vince Vance — out for the season with a knee injury — was arrested for not having a valid driver’s license and booked into the jail at 9:29 p.m. Saturday. Vance, 21, was released on a $500 bond about an hour later.

UGA defensive end Jeremy Lomax was charged with weapons possession and speeding shortly after midnight Tuesday. Lomax is the fourth UGA football player to be arrested in the off- season.

Long snapper Jeff Henson, a junior from Gainesville, was arrested for public intoxication and urinating in public. He was booked into the Athens-Clarke County jail at 3:46 a.m. and was released on $750 bond at 10 a.m. Because Henson also was charged with DUI last November — he missed the Sugar Bowl as punishment — he was suspended indefinitely.
Clint Boling - Reckless driving
Fred Munzenmaier - underage consumption of alcohol
Henson was the eighth Georgia football player arrested and jailed in 2008. Two other players will be suspended for games as a result: offensive guard Clint Boling, one game for reckless driving; and fullback Fred Munzenmaier, two games for underage consumption.
