Personally, I think it was more about Braine wanting to stick it to the jerkoffs setting up websites to bash his coach and demanding that the AD fire the HC.:laugher:

Nope, not me. You actually couldn't be further from the truth. I don't tend to tolerate blowhards who know little, if any, about which they speak, though. And if they can enjoy themselves lighting up the message boards talking out their collective asses, I can have my own fun calling them on it.;)

I did not know where his permananent residence would be...that is an interesting town to go to. Last time I talked to him he had purchased a home in the mountains to spend time at...last season sometime.

No, he sold it a couple of years ago. Kathy's family is down there and that is a central location to all's family. He loves it down there. Built a beautiful house and I will be visiting ofter to see my old buddy.
 
I know it's a little late and the thread is stale, but I never said we should have hired Joe Hamilton. At the time that he really could have helped Reggie, he was with Orlando playing arena ball. I was merely stating that there was an obvious connection between the two. There was an exception, Joe was the greatest thing to ever happen to me, and Reggie was a frustrating underachiever.

Is it not possible to just strongly encourage mentoring?

Plenty of football to watch in that town as well...and not far from the gulf coast.
