Hopefully, when he gets all this straightened out, and a couple of years pass, he can come back.
That is totally out of line ..... ARSEHOLE
Hopefully he can, but I doubt it. I just don't think people can change but so much. If you're an idiot today then you'll probably be an idiot tomorrow and still be one 5 years from now.
Interesting. So you never made a bad choice? You have no idea if Joe drinks once in a blue moon or is a raving alcoholic, but the fact is people do change and he can get himself together if he's strong enough. ELI made mistakes when he was younger and Tech didn't turn it's back on him. David Thompson had his problems but State stood by him and helped him get things turned around. You may doubt Joe can get it together, and I can doubt that you have any idea what you're talking about. How's that?Hopefully he can, but I doubt it. I just don't think people can change but so much. ANYBODY can choose not to drink. There are Judges, Lawyers, Doctors, and etc. who are alcoholics who choose not to drink.

Yeah, I'm not sure how one drunk night makes somebody an alcoholic. Stupid for driving, definitely, and most certainly stupid for the chronic and then the open container to top everything off.
The ironic thing is it's because he blew a .19 that he did all this. At .08, I doubt he would ever consider driving around Tech. That's why you burn your keys while sober.
I don't see the irony. Your thought is that at .08 the fool would be drunk, but not driving. At .19 he is so drunk, that he indeed also drives. Where's the irony?
