Joker Phillips?

The following is a quote from Rivals on the Tech page, I am not a member so I can't read the rest of the article, anyone know anything about this? Anyone a Rival's member?

"Georgia Tech athletic director Dan Radakovich has reportedly been very active in recent days making contacts and conducting interviews. While several names have surfaced repeatedly since Chan Gailey was fired, Kentucky offensive coordinator Joker Phillips has not emerged as a potential candidate ... until now."

This is an option only if we end up promoting JT, Joker Phillips would be OC for JT and he is a good one.

Almost every school will end up with their 3rd or 4th choice. It is rare for anyone or any business to be able to hire the"perfect' choice. The exception this year is Texas A&M who is going to wish they had gotten their 3rd or 4th choice.

Also remember the one you consider our number 1, I may believe they should not even be on anyone's list.

TAM got their first choice last time around too. And it cost them big.

Joker can develop QBs pretty well; Andre' Woodson is a damn good QB who led an upset of LSU and almost another against Tennessee. He is twice as good this year as he was last year, which says something about the O Coordinator.

This guy looks like Bill Lewis without the head coaching experience.

Actually Randy Sanders, formerly at UT, is the UK QB coach and did a great job with Woodson.

That's the problem, our fourth choice looks like our first choice. Why aren't we going after the UCLA or Texas A&M coach or the current head coach at Boise or some other small conference DI team? It just seems to me that we blew $3M for a 50/50 shot at improving.
