Jon Hilliman = STUD (no shame not being able to catch him on 73-yard TD)

Yes definitely. Right where the ball carrier was running. Not sure how the refs missed that one.

#ACCrefs, clearly. That is a big disappointment.

CPJ was right in comparing it to ND last year. Nice thing Saturday was that we put together the drive we needed to eek out the win. Shades of 2014.

Looked like Gamble was held, too, though less blatant and he might not have been in on the play anyways.

I know football doesn't work this way, but if you take away his 73 yd run, we held him to just 29 yards (16 for 29). Pretty good if you ask me. That run skewed everything. Without it, as a team they'd have just broken over 100 rushing yards total.

It was troubling that our secondary didn't have the speed to catch up. Hopefully this was a rare case of a stud rare RB.

I think S. Durham catches him before the endzone, but 17 Austin takes him out while trying to make the tackle. They both closed a decent amount. If 17 Austin gets his hips around faster, he catches him. S. Durham was blitzing on the play and was 8 yards behind the play and closed the gap. Not a disaster from the secondary, IMO.
