JSU money stealing and the reason Deion left

Couldn’t get past the first 3 minutes listening to the annoying retard. Someone care to summarize?
1) by contract, Coach was to get a percentage of the gate when more than 30,000 tickets were sold. JSU' never showed more than 28k tickets sold. Photos show sellouts or near sellouts for every game that D coached. They were robbing and lying and violating contract.
2) Football team was to receive money for travel, hotels and food from JSU' administration for bowl games and other games. They never paid a dime for any of it. Coach D paid for much (if not all) out of his own pocket.
3) other issues, but the 2 above are the main items as I remember it.

4) Coach D paid to the get the locker room renovated.

Basically, Coach D was coaching for free because what he was getting paid (and probably more) was going back into the program. Deion is an arrogant showboat; but despite the appearance he seems to have a lot of character. More character than the administration at JSU.

People actually arguing about whether Deion is "justified" in leaving JSU. What a ööööed up mindset, he doesn't have to justify anything there. Sucks that JSU apparently tried to screw him every chance they got; he was a golden goose for that program. Hope Colorado works out for him.

He was probably the best cornerback to ever play. You can make arguments for a couple of others, but he is 100 percent top 5. I think he was the best. And I have a lot of company in folks who know much more about the game than I do.

He was also beyond flashy. Neon Deion. Prime Time.

He didn't just shut down the greatest receivers in the world single-handedly, he returned nine INTs for TDs. He scored another nine TDs on kick and punt returns - flash plays. He also played receiver and caught 3 TDs. Ran for a TD. Returned a fumble for a TD. I think that is just about every way you can score a TD. All while playing parts of NINE seasons in the major leagues - including a World Series where he batted over .500 in 17 plate appearances.

No one has a resume like that. No one.

Shut up and get off my lawn!
If only Bo Jackson hadn’t gotten injured.

Listen, Bo was an incredible athlete who would have done amazing things if not for the injury. Deion actually DID the amazing things. A lot of us watched it every week. He and Darrell Green were the greatest corners I’ve ever seen and they were both electric. The first time Green ever touched a ball in the NFL he took a punt return for a TD. The difference in them is Green handed the ball to the ref his entire career and Deion danced. But the baseball side set Deion apart even from Bo. If not for the injury Bo could have done it all. But the the jury happened and Deion stands alone.

I don't see anyone in this thread arguing about whether Deion is justified in leaving JSU. :dunno:

Deion as a CB literally shut down one side of the field as most OC’s gameplanned to not throw near his side of the field. Obviously this wasn’t always the case but it happened more often than not.

There are people in the world outside of ST. Shocking to many but true. :D
I only saw one or two here have that take. But an awful lot of CRT (in the real world outside ST) types have been railing on Prime leaving for Colorado and actually saying they hope he fails there because of “abandoning” a HBCU. Sometimes you can’t make everyone happy and you can’t ever make some happy.
