JT5 has now surpassed Nesbitt as my favorite QB under CPJ because...

Comparing each one's three years as starting QB -->

2014 > 2009 (Adv: JT)
2016 > 2008 (Adv: JT)
2010 > 2015 (Adv: JN)

Although Nesbitt did bring us CPJ's lone ACC Championship, JT5 beat uga twice and won the Orange Bowl. That seals the deal for me.

Agree? Disagree?

Tough to say. They are obviously on the top pedestal together. Nesbitt had a LOT more talent around him in 08 and 09 than any year Justin did. Justin was more of a one man show because it was required. Justin was the reason we won the games we did in 14 and 16. Josh was a huge part of his team's but the fact that he had BeBe and Dwyer lends me to believe Justin's career was more impressive.

I will always have a ton of respect and love for JT, but to me Josh sits a little bit higher on the shelf of some of my all time favorites. Take a trip down memory lane if you haven't thought about Josh in a while.

Thomas had the better career, but it will be tough for anyone to top Nesbitt for me. Will never forget how he took the ball back, or how he beat Wake in OT, or how he ended the streak against U[sic]GA in his first year. His style of play was just so endearing and easy to root for, plus he broke us out of the Gailey doldrums.

Of course Thomas gave me memories I'll never forget too, and like I said his career was objectively better, but Nesbitt is still my favorite.

If Josh Nesbitt falls in the woods, and no one's around to see it, is it still a first down?

Isn't it great to have two quarterbacks in recent years to remember so fondly?

Here's hoping for a third!

JT5 2-1 vs the Dawgs
Who was the last GT qb to have a winning record against U[sic]GA? Godsey? Hamilton?

2 wins over UGA.

This. He also won two bowl games. I don't even remember 2015. Except for the FSU game. And that was awesome too.

I liked Nesbit as a player because he was a warrior but JT5 is far superior. There's no debating that.

Yes, but "favorite" doesn't necessarily mean "superior". Otherwise we'd all be rooting for Alabama.

Well out of the two great Tech quarback my favorite is the one who beat uga twice, because he's superior. That's got nothing to do with rooting for Bama or not.
