Just becareful of what you wish for....

Geeteelee clearly accepts mediocrity in his internet violence. At least link an image of tubgirl or something.

It is not up to me, but I like the stability of a long term head coach for our program because of the challenges being a head coach at GaTech brings.

Not saying your wrong, but he was looking to high- tail it out of here last year and he will again this year if anybody comes calling. I didn't get upset that there were NFL teams interested, it was the way he handled it. Very hush, hush & I'm gonna do whats best for me and my family no matter what anybody else thinks kind of attitude, so we need to do whats best for GT at the end of the season. Whatever that is.

I completely agree that we need to do what's best for GT football at the end of the season.(whatever it is) My opinion is that what is best is yet to be determined.

Wow! I guess you guys listened to Braine...6-7 wins is OK for the most of you.

In response to your argument above....

1. Bobby Bowden
2. Steve Spurrier
3. Dan Hawkins
4. Bobby Petrino

Basically, any coach at a number of schools have come in and done a fantastic turnaround job. Sure there are coaches who have come in and lost. But there are also plenty of coaches that have come in and won. You're argument is pointless.

Are you guys that afraid of change?

Dan Hawkins, are you sure? I know a lot of people wanted him to replace Chan a couple of years ago; but isn't he like 6-12 in his current job?

I think the jury is still out him....But boy, did he walk into a big mess when he took over...He did have a big win a couple weeks ago

Well, he took over a really down Colorado program and just beat Oklahoma so I think Hawkins might ought to still be on the list.

Yeah, but didn't we beat an Auburn team when they were ranked in the top 5?
Gailey has had some signature wins.

I don't think Auburn was that good, they had already lost to USC and didn't have anywhere near the talent this Oklahoma team does. I think the biggest difference though is what Hawkins did at Boise State.

We also beat Miami when they were #3.

We also lost to Duke, NC State, UGA 6 times, UVA, etc, etc, etc...

Dan Hawkins took a team wrapped in controversy, with a 7-6 record; and turned it into a 2-10 team. Given time, Hawkins will probably turn it around and at least get back to mediocrity.

But, if Chan is replaced with a coach who goes under .500 (much less 2-10), this place will probably go into a meltdown. I just don't think Dan Hawkins is an example of the coaching transition anyone here wants.

Amen!!! And our program was in much better shape when Chan took over here then what coach Hawkins walked into at Colorado.

Kind of like Bobby Ross?

GeeTeeLee,

I gotta say it then...you're satisfied with 6-7 wins. Should I wince now? Is it coming?

GEETEELEE, law_bee, beej, you have been called out!

http://www.bbuzzoff.com/forum3/3586.html

those guys can go urinate up a rope.

When I forced the truth down their throats, when the the administrator was exposed as a liar, I was promptly banned. Dunno about lawbee, but beej was also banned. So the cowards are calling us out, but yet won't allow us to post there? Typical.

Yet the assholes' motto is "no holds barred" and half of their posts are spent criticizing the Hive and 'Stinktalk', but you have to be 'approved' to even get a password for the place.

It is the height of hypocracy.

H-town....I wouldn't sit too close to your monitor, if I were you....

....

:laugher::laugher::laugher: That's hilarious, cut-n-paste quotes from one message board to call out someone on a message board they are banned from posting on.
