nc, of course neither of us knows the real situation with Grobe, but there are many people who would rather live in Atlanta than Lincoln, Nebraska or Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Atlant has really change in the last 10 yers and has so much to offer now, particularly to guys making the big bucks. Don't underestimate that. How did we end up with D Rad when he was with the big time LSU program, and most likely incumbent for the head AD? Atlanta wa a bigt part of it. You see coaches every day say they love their position and then the neext week change jobs. What you read or hear is said for public relations and does not come close to what these guys are really thinking. They would be stupid to be completely candid with the media. Maybe you are right, but it would be an accident in my opinion, basing it on the sources that you have.

Like you said, neither of us really knows. But I don't think it has anything to do with where the school is, more about the perceived level of the program. And my point really is that I don't think Grobe will leave Wake unless it's a dream job. They have committed to him and given hiim everything he's asked for and he really does seem to love it there. Only time will tell.
 
Texstinger it would be my guess that you've never met Chan with the description you use to describe him.

You'll have to deal with it , he's not going anywhere. The recruits have already been notified of that.
 
I don't think CG is going but why not just come out and say-thanks but no thanks NOW --and get some adulation before you start to irritate the faithful?

Red, now that we've seen a lot more of PJ's offense, I wonder if you still think a pitch is that much more dangerous than a handoff? Especially with Navy's O-line going against Brace, Raji and Toal?

Some people don't understand humor. It was clearly a jab at Bbuzzoff.com and the way they handled the Gailey hire/tenure/fire. And GT1992 has been posting as early as yesterday (I checked his profile). It's just all been in the Off-Topic section.
