Interest rates are zero nominally and like -10% in real terms, why can't we just take out an $80 MM loan to get Urban Meyer? The annual interest on that would be like $100,000 which I think we could cover. Why the hell do CFB programs still use cash to pay coaches?

I’m sort of at a loss here. I don’t know any viable choices for new coach. I don’t think we can afford anyone who is worth a damn. The ones we could afford are probably not going to come here. The only thing I’m pretty certain about right now is that Georgia Southern has a better coach than we do and they got him for a song and a dance (but knowing his time there will be short). Hell, let’s hire him before he ever coaches a down at Southern. Or see if Malzahn wants to come back north. At this point, I’d even give Larry Fedora or Gene Chizik a chance. All are upgrades.
