Just read the game thread

I also root for Arkansas. The similarities between threads was eerie until I realized almost every board is like that.

I am sure Clemson is bitching about their offense, TCU about their defense, etc.
 
Sidewalk fans aren't the ones I hear bitching the most. It's the alumni dorks that don't have an athletic bone in their body and have never been on a team (other than the math club) who seem the most critical.

Then there are those who "played the game" either in some podunk high school or sat the bench somewhere. Don't get me started on those.
 
I was so irritated by the lack of offense that I'm glad the site was lagging otherwise I'd be another whiny bitch. And don't criticize sidewalk fans - they have a choice to be a fan.

We needed to pick up a 4th and 19 to win. Against a team that hadn't won a conference game in 500 days.

If the team hadn't won a conference game in 500 days, wouldn't that indicate that the chances of picking up the 4th and 19 and winning the game were inordinately high?

Also, nobody likes a chicken little, and every person on the planet absolutely hates the "fan" that can't wait to say "I told you we were going to lose".

I'm not saying I'm not happy we won. I am. I'm glad I look like a whining ponce. But thinking we'd win that game at the end means you're either hopelessly and blindly optimistic (not something GT is known for) or just an idiot.

..if yall keep posting those chat logs, it's less likely I'm going to get in the channel lol. I'm level headed the next day, but I wouldn't want anyone recording me during a Tech game.

What's the difference between a chat log and the gameday thread? Or do you not post in gameday threads either?
