Just think,one more win AND......

There's a post about it around here from a week or two ago, from a Stingtalker who's got the inside scoop. I can't find it right now.

perhaps, but still though its so early to even say GT would get that bowl even if we do beat UNC

there are good options in the ACC this year actually...it is a decent conf

For that particular bowl you could have FSU, BC (depending on what happens vs clemson), Miami, Wake and GT all vying for it....

all of those are attractive...especially FSU; assuming BC lands a higher bowl like champs if clemson wins and vice versa

the only option to bump GT in the Music City if FSU. If we fire Chan two days after the UGAG game (I assume we will) they might take FSU over us. Otherwise, a win this Saturday clinches the Music City.

So, a win Saturday and you either get the Music city bowl or Chan fired. Can you have both, that's the question.

Here's a link to the Music City thread:

If GT wins the next 2, the Music City bowl still plans to take the Jackets even if Gailey is fired. Why?

They won't take UVA, MIA or Wake. NCSU, UNC, and Duke are out.

They would take FSU but think they'll end up in Orlando or even Jacksonville if they win out. They don't want BC again and assume they will go to the Orange, CFA, or Gator. VT will go to one of those three. Clemson will go higher and they were there last year.

Plus, they think they will almost for sure get the loser of the Bama vs. auburn game and they believe (as do I) GT will travel to Nashville to play vs. an SEC team with or without Gailey.

So, if we win the next 2, we should be going to Nashville. If we win the next three, we will still be going to Nashville.
