I see that Saban quote, but often wonder why CGC only worked there for one year

I'm intrigued by that as well. Not because I think there's any hidden or nefarious going on (I'm sure moving from admin to position coach is a huge opportunity), but because I wonder how people who work for Saban balance the advantages/disadvantages of the unique credibility he brings and the limited opportunities you'll have there. Lotta guys are willing to slave away at Goldman, you know? At some point you gotta convert that credibility into opportunity elsewhere, but a tenure of just one year does seem brief on the Saban staff.
