It is great to see, but certainly no surprise, that Ted Roof is doing so well at dook. They have become a very competitive team due primarily to the addition of Roof.
Our loss.....their gain.

I agree.

Giving up 30-40 points a game and 300+ yards passing sure kept me on the edge of my seat the last few seasons.

The increased number of (3 -&- OUT) defensive series this year have been downright boring!

Tenuta, all of the GT D staff, and players have done one heck of a job especially the last two weeks.

Duke's defense sure looked stellar when Clemson rolled Duke over during the 2nd half.

It was typical Roof defense .. bend but don't break .. but guess what .. if you keep bending it long enough .. it will eventually break!

i'm glad that we don't have a bend but don't break philosophy on defense.

Tech is giving up 18 points per game this year, 2002.
Tech gave up 22 points per game last year, 2001.
Tech gave up 19 points per game in 2000.

yes, but if you factor in the QUALITY of our offense in the Fridge years versus the offense now our D is MUCH superior.

Our Off under fridge would consistently control the clock. It has only been the last two games that off has had sustained drives.

This D is probably the best in 10+ years.

if 1st year Godsey or 3rd year lil Joe would have had this D we would have probably gone to the BCS, IMO.

I agree LAW, but the heart of our D this year were playing as FR. and HS.SR. in LIL JOE's last year and SO. and FR. in GOOSE's 1st year.

One of these years we will get O and D talent with ability and experience at the same time.

That will be the year we not only go to BCS, but maybe win it all.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but were there no night games at BDS this season....? Those 7pm games are great for those of us who like to tailgate ALL DAY LONG!
