Larry Nelson, too. Back when it was Kennesaw Junior College, I think. I liked playing at his course up that way, Centennial. It must have closed.

Lots of people have seen Briana Blair naked. Ryan Seacrest has seen Julianne Hough naked. So they've got one-fourth of fight win drink get naked down pat.

Alabama A&M and Alcorn St. have great bands that put on very entertaining halftime shows. What about KSU would make it a better game than Alabama A&M or Alcorn St.?

Very good. Kennessaw State is not actually a state, but is a university located in Kennesaw, GA.
 
Good friend from HS dropped out of GT, got a degree from Kennesaw, and now makes six figures as a healthcare consultant in Denver. He's flying in for the KSU home opener. So that's something.

The funny part is, he used to bitch about the triple option because he only ever got to see it on prime time when we were playing bowls and it wasn't working. So when KSU got a team, he was all, "now I don't have to watch any more of this triple option bullshit!" .. so I linked him Bohannon's bio.

At least your friend is not a disgrace to his KSU degree. Is he just flying in for the opener or does he plan to go to more games?

The key word is had. I believe somebody on gsufans posted the other day that 80%+ of the FCS championship games involved teams that are now FBS. GS and App no longer fit in the SoCon, or with most of the east coast FCS teams for that matter.

Now you have a more expensive team to maintain with the cost of attendance and extra scholarships. I think Southern and Appy State (as well as the rest of the Sunbelt) should consider dropping back to FCS. There isn't a way for them to get the revenues to compete with the power 5 and there will be a lot of uninteresting games.

Opener for sure. Might be back for Thanksgiving depending on schedules and such.

I have a lot of friends who dropped out of GT and still did very well for themselves. That's one of the reasons I'm not sold that GT is as responsible for their graduates success, as much as it is just a really good indicator that someone is capable of succeeding. I may be the only guy I went to school with who actually uses their GT degree in their work. I guess I know one Mtrainer who is now a CPA. The rest either do something unrelated to their degree and also make bank, or dropped out and learned to make bank some other way because they were smart to begin with.

I would say that's definitely true, and true of college in general, really. In most cases, you're working for and paying for the degree and to show you can handle the education, not for the education itself.

College administrators love doing this. They tell the students there's a modest fee and when their projections end up being a load of crap, later students are dumped on. The student center parking deck at Georgia Tech is a prime example of this. It was built with the justification that it would be paid for by user fees. When it was under used, they jacked parking fees on everyone and increased the fines. I'd like to see an administrator guarantee he will personally cover any shortfalls.
