Bo knows... Bo was better. Better than any Herschel you want to put out there. Herschel was very good, but Bo was great. Bo was bigger, faster and stronger than Herschel. Bo excelled in both the NFL and MLB before he got hurt.

Bo played in the wishbone and shared carries until his SR season. HW played feature back in the I-formation and ran a massive amount. But they were very close statistically.

HW: 6'1" 225
Bo: 6'1" 227

Speed:
HW: 4.3 40-yard
BO: 4.12-4.22 40-yard

Best Season:
HW: 1891 yards on 385 carries (4.9 ypc) - 1st SEC
Bo: 1786 yards on 278 carries (6.4 ypc) - 2nd SEC

TD Production:
HW: 1 TD every 20 touches
Bo: 1 TD every 15 touches

Career Yards:
HW: 5259 yards on 994 rushes (in 3 years!!!) - 5.3 ypc
Bo: 4303 yards on 650 rushes - 6.6 ypc

Bo did more with less, but in the early 80's, I'd have taken either one on Tech's team.
 
Both 1st team caliber but I think Bo was more dangerous.
One miss and he was gone baybee gone.

I thought both were phenomenal athletes. IIRC, Bo came back to play MLB on an artificial hip.
