And then there were these guys, who smashed the windshield of this police car before attempting to flip it. The LAPD says five officers were hurt in the fracas.

Come on law_bee. Maybe you haven't heard. The Lakers won the NBA championship last night. Isn't this how we're supposed to celebrate when our teams are the best?

Let's go trash something and hurt people because our team is the best.

In all fairness, often after a major college wins the NC, there is sofa burnings or fires galore. What's the difference? (Not that I am supporting destroying a police car in any way.)

The sofa's rarely still have people sitting on them. Plus remember that 'most' colleges are not located in as big of cities as LA. Did USC people burn sofas when the won it in 03/04 (don't remember exactly).

And how does this have to do with football????? I wouldn't have said anything had Orlando won. Screw the lakers.

I am a huge fan of Kobe Bryant just like I am GT so therefore I am a fan of the Lakers!!! GO LAKERS!!!

Well he will go down as one of the best to play the game so that might be why

As a player, there is no doubt he's one of the best today (I don't know about in the history of the game), but as a person, I don't know. That's why I was asking. Its hard for me to root for a fella that has an affair on his wife and then rats out a teammate when he gets caught. Not being holier-than-thou, but its just hard for me to root for a guy like that.

People burn their own sofas, not someone else's.
