LB Meiguez out with torn ACL

Injuries happen in a violent sport. That is why you need to develop depth and not just starters.

Next man up.
 
I will also point out that an improved DL (which I think is realistic) allows a bit more latitude in the LB Corp.

Not saying it's ok to not have reliable depth at LB, just that our lives shouldn't depend on it like in the last five+ years.

And the addition of the young man from MD looks like a home run if not a grand slam.

It would be nice if the younger guys prove they can be counted on for snaps because you never know about injuries or whatever. Right now, I would expect these 3 experienced guys to take the lions share of LB snaps and that was true before Meiguez’s injury.
