SOMEONE has to step up and take some accountability with this unit.
Evidently the loss of Richards, Johnson, and Walker have proven to be tremendous. I was hoping the maturation of our LB's would fill some of that void??
I have never seen a group of LBs get pushed around so badly. Hell, Sed got pancaked 3 times by the full back in 2nd half. They could not get off blocks and seemed to be chasing all night. I suspect the younger boys will get looks this week in practice.
Observation: It looked to me that Wommack had a plan for the front line to try and stand up their OL- keeping their heads up to look for Harris to scramble more?? It Looked like a defense scheme we played last year Vs. TYROD T. Maybe im just trying to make an excuse for our lack of pressure.
