Did anyone else notice Saturday what Derrick Morgan did to Bay Bay during a time-out when we had the ball? What I saw was DM walking on the field from the sidelines and grabbing a kneeling Bay Bay by the shoulder pads and lifting to his feet. Bay Bay was the only player who had taken a knee.

This showed that leadership component that CPJ has been advocating from some of his players. It was good to see. GO JACKETS!

Very good sign. Despite the talent on this time, I think we can be a bit fragile simply because we only have a handful of seniors on this team. The leadership factor is something you can't teach, but it's absolutely critical to the makeup of a good team.

I didn't see that one .. but i saw where D. Morgan went over to a kneeling, winded, or injured Dwyer on the sidelines and it looked like he said -- tough your ass up. Not once after that did JD come hobbling off the field. Morgan wanted that game bad!

DM is awesome. Gotta love that guy. Can't wait for his next game.

BTW, article by Coley about how DM was the one in charge in the locker room before the game.

Derrick Moore — Georgia Tech’s team chaplain affectionately nicknamed “D-Mo” by his attentive pupils — was delivering an impassioned speech encouraging his young listeners to be accountable for their actions and to go out and take what was rightfully theirs.

Good stuff, that's the only problem with having so few seniors on the team, where are your leaders going to come from? It's really rare to see someone take over as the leader of the team in their Sophomore (Tim Tebow is a HUGE exception). And if anyone saw Tebow's speech at halftime during the MNC game, you see how valuable a nice rough "get real" pep talk can be.

On a side note, did anyone else see Bay Bay and Tyler Melton kneel and pray with Dwyer in the corner of the endzone before the game and second half? Dwyer has done this since his first start last year, and it was kind of cool to see them do that with him. Stuff like that really makes a team function as a unit.

JD does not come hobbling of the unless he is hurt. ahe is as tugh as they come. You don't even close to having his Heart or toughness. Wat you don't think JD wanted the game just as bad. Jerk

Im not saying he/JD didn't want to win. Im telling you there "sparky" you need to understand what was going on in the Miami game -when he took himself out of the game. Or better yet take a look at the many posts from our .....insiders which of course are connected to the team on a daily basis.

This cat is NFL bound next season....do the math.
So yea i question his desire. You will never see JD play a game this year like Josh did Sat.

We forget that these guys are kids. The same as we were trying to make our grades. And our team is younger than most. CPJ is the perfect man to lead these kids right now. It is obvious they believe in his leadership.
